We had a great time at Social Saturday on 13th September at Jubilee Square. The event was organised by the all new Brighton & Hove Social Enterprise Network to celebrate and promote the amazing social enterprise community that is developing in the city.
For us at Goodmoney CIC it was also an opportunity to get some feedback on our plans to launch local gift voucher scheme – we were absolutely blown away by the positive response we received.
We spoke to over fifty people on the day, half of which happened to run their own business. We discovered a real appetite from everyone for a new kind of gift voucher that can be spent with local independent businesses, instead of high street chains.
Everyone we spoke to left us their email address for us to let them know when we launch. Now we know there is a real appetite for a local gift voucher we’re going to get our heads down and see if we can launch it at the beginning of next year.
